MindTerm SSH

This is MindTerm, an SSH client written in Java. It will make an encrypted connection between your browser (and your computer) and the server marcus.whitman.edu. Encrypted means that it is not possible for unauthorized people to catch your password or other data while transmitted via the net. Due to Java security it is only possible to connect to marcus.whitman.edu when you are running MindTerm in a browser.

MindTerm is 102KB, so you have to wait for a little while it is downloading.

Press ENTER to connect to login, then your user name and password.

MindTerm requires a browser supporting JDK 1.1. For most people this means Netscape 4.06 or Internet Explorer 4 (and newer). You must also enable Java in the browser.
